30 DAY COURSES FOR BEGINNERS

This is one of a series of 30 days courses on Beginners Tai Chi. There is also the 30 Day Health Practices for Home Workers and the 30 day Energy and Breathing Course.

Each course offers a book and 30 modules (1 a day - but can be worked through as quickly or as slowly as you wish). You choose to download the session to your device or stream it. 

Why a 30 Day Short Course?

The majority of people that start learning Tai Chi never finish the course. Tai Chi Forms - of which there are over 120 variations - can vary in length from a just few steps to over 200. Fortunately, there are a series of postures that are common to all variations, and these can be learnt quickly and easily in this introductory course. 

More about the Course: Are you a beginner?

This simple, easy to learn and entertaining course is perfect for you. I'll take you first through the footwork, then the arm positions and finally the complete posture - linking each one slowly into a flowing, beautiful short sequence for you to practice each day.

Do you already know some Tai Chi?

If you are already practising or have learnt some Tai Chi, then these postures should be familiar and will serve as additional training away from your class. However, to make it more challenging, I will be linking them in a new way, showing you how to perform them on both sides and how to add repetitions and extra moves between the transitions. 

Learn the history and context

The course not only teachers you the practice, but also covers the history of the Tai Chi Form. We will look at what the experts tell us about the guiding principles and how to refer to the Tai Chi classics to shape our studies and practice. 


A Tai Chi Form to suit your needs

Once learnt, this Short Form can be easily adjusted in number of postures or repetitions, to meet the time, energy and space you have available to practice.
